About VietnamTransportGuide.com
What VietnamTransportGuide.com covers
Getting around Vietnam by train, sleeper bus, limousine van, plane and boat, and across its borders with Cambodia, Laos and China: which services run, when they leave, what they cost for October 2026 departures, and exactly where you board, from the station on a railway ticket to the street office a night bus leaves from.
It is based in Hanoi.
Report a changed timetable, fare or pickup
A bus office that has moved, a fare that has gone up, a boat that no longer sails: if you have just travelled a route and a page is wrong, email contact@vietnamtransportguide.com with the page, what it says, what you found and when you travelled. A photo of a posted timetable or fare board helps.
Where to check on the day
Is my train running, and at what time? The railway's timetable at dsvn.vn and its hotlines, 1900 0109 in Hanoi and 1900 1520 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Which airport terminal? Your booking, and the airport's own departures board.
Do I need a visa? Vietnam's e-visa site, evisa.gov.vn, and for the neighbours the pages on the Cambodia, Laos and China borders.
Which office does my bus leave from? Your ticket; the company's office address is printed on it.
Common questions about this guide
Is this an official government or railway site?
No. It has no connection to any Vietnamese government agency, the railway or any transport company. Where a fact comes from one of them, the page lists it under its sources.
Can you change or refund a booking?
No. A booking made through a link on this site is handled by the booking site that sent your confirmation, or by the company you booked with; they are the ones who can change or refund it.
Do bus companies or airlines pay to be listed?
No. There is no paid placement, and no company has a say in what a page says about it.
Can I quote a page?
A short quote with a link back is fine. Republishing a page wholesale is not; the terms page has the detail.
