Where you get off depends on the company. Many buses go to the hostels in Ha Giang city where Ha Giang Loop tours and motorbike rentals start; others stop at their office, on streets such as Tran Phu and Nguyễn Trãi, or at Bến xe Hà Giang (Ha Giang bus station).
Since 1 July 2025 Ha Giang has been part of Tuyên Quang province; the city and the loop kept their names, but many booking pages still say "Ha Giang province".
