Getting to Da Lat by bus or plane
Da Lat is reached by road or by air: buses from Ho Chi Minh City take 6 to 8 hours, from about 401,500₫ online for October 2026, and daytime vans from Nha Trang about three hours. Flying from Ho Chi Minh City takes 55 minutes, from about 970,700₫, but Liên Khương airport, open again since August 2026, is about 30 km out of town. No through train reaches Da Lat.

By road from Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang or Da Nang
From Ho Chi Minh City, October 2026. The bus is the cheapest way: FUTA's Standard AC from Bến xe Miền Tây (Mien Tay bus station) takes eight hours, about 401,500₫ online. LH Minh Tri Limousine's nine-seat vehicle takes six hours, from 517,500₫, ending at 11 KQH Hoàng Diệu.
The overnight choices include Thanh Buoi's seven-hour sleeper from 266 Lê Hồng Phong, and An Anh Limousine's eight-hour VIP 34 from 64 Nguyễn Cư Trinh. They arrive at company offices, not at Bến xe Đà Lạt (Da Lat bus station); the full list is below.
From Nha Trang
iHome's Tourist van leaves 34 Bùi Phùng at 13:00 and reaches An Tien Cafe in Da Lat at 16:00, about 267,500₫ online.

From Da Nang
Viet Lao's Cabin 32 leaves 28 Huỳnh Thúc Kháng at 19:00 and reaches 67 Mai Hắc Đế at 08:00 the next morning, 630,000₫ online. The buses back use other pickups and cabins; see Da Nang to Da Lat.
Liên Khương airport is open again
Lien Khuong Airport (DLI)
Liên Khương reopened on 19 August 2026, after runway and taxiway work. Flights restarted at 00:01 that day under the aviation authority's decision, so closure notices from earlier in the year are out of date.
The airport code is DLI. It is about 30 km from Da Lat, 40 to 50 minutes by road according to Vietnam Airlines.

To Mui Ne: day buses stop along Nguyễn Đình Chiểu or at named resorts; some tickets end at a bus station in Phan Thiet instead, explained below.

FUTA's day bus is the simple choice, station to station: Bến xe Miền Tây at 09:00 to Bến xe Đà Lạt at 17:00, about 401,500₫ online for October 2026. Flying takes 55 minutes, from about 970,700₫, plus the ride in from Liên Khương.
